Bunmi Adepoju and I

On Sunday 18th December 2011, I was invited by the lovely Bunmi Adepoju of StyleSideKick to enjoy a day of relaxation and pampering at the HSF Spa and Wellness centre. So off I went ready to explore the treatments and be pampered basically. As a “JJC” of  spas, everything was exciting to me.  I walked into the facility and was greeted nicely by the owner and given a cup of warm strawberry tea. How nice.  I filled in the necessary information and I was ready for my Relaxation.

After changing into the appropriate footwear for the spa and I was given a tour of the fantastic facility. They’ve got everything!

From a gym to steam room, Sauna, Massage rooms and a flotation tank with salt water you can just relax in. I was a bit scared of the flotation device so, let’s just say I skipped that part.

I finished my tea and off I went for my 1st treatment, as they call it in spa lingo.

I sat in the steam room and my love for steam was re-kindled. I LOVE STEAM! it opens up your pores and all the stress and dirt from your everyday living just comes out, you have a shower and just feel really clean. After which I moved on to my next treatment which was the full body exfoliating scrub. The scrub mixture contained milk and honey-lovely and then I was sent back to the steam room for another dose of steam. I finally agreed to get out of there and have a shower and my skin felt AMAZING! And my last treatment was a massage. That felt awesome!

I was truely relaxed and it was a wonderful experience in a calm and lovely environment. I went down to the Cafe to grab some mini pizzas because the road to relaxation is a lot of work even for the relaxee.

I love the HSF Spa and Wellness centre and the best part is they are open till like 9pm everyday!
