Nigeria’s ready-to-wear brand Wana Sambo Clothing is scheduled for its 2nd official ready-to-wear runway show at Glitz Africa Fashion Week, Accra, Ghana. The show will hold from the 17th–19th of August 2012. Pieces from Wana Sambo’s recent collection ‘I AM WOMAN’ will be showcased with a new twist. An added touch of party wear to glam goddess to exotic beau will be displayed as it ushers in the Resort 2013 collection titled ‘Vintage Shops and Coffee Bars’.

In response to the GAFW invitation, The designer Wana Sambo said ‘I am overwhelmed and honored to be chosen to show my designs amongst brands from the African and International Markets respectively. It is a prerequisite that I put on a great show for the world. Thank you for this opportunity.’

Glitz Fashion Magazine, a Ghanaian owned celebrity/lifestyle magazine in Ghana has announced that its inaugural Fashion Week is tailored to provide the platform for Africa’s fashion industry to showcase its talents, network, celebrate each other and expose them to uncharted markets. It will create vast opportunities for young designers & models, as well as increase visibility and promotion of brands associated.
