Award Winning Actress, Thandie Newton Shops Jewellery Brand Tebazile; Plus Photos From The Tebazile Poolside Runway Event
Saturday 16th of June 2012 saw the arrival of the much anticipated and awaited Tebazile Poolside Runway Event at the stunning Temple Muse boutique, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The fashion show was a day to remember with great ambiance, fabulous cocktails courtesy of Belvedere Vodka and inspirational jewellery along with a unique performance by sensational Ghanaian songstress, Efya. The event was a reflection of the essence behind Tebazile as well as a nod to the brand’s evolution in recent times.
An eclectic and empowering collection of jewels was showcased over the beautiful new pool at Temple Muse, through exciting summer ensembles on the runway showing that the hot summer trends are not complete without a piece or more from the Tebazile Collections. Tebazile has by all means surpassed itself with its latest collections, ensuring that all fans will not be disappointed and will certainly be including some of the new jewels on their ‘Must Have’ lists!
For the Summer season Tebazile has incorporated a number of variations into its beautifully unique style to once again offer jewellery that in its quirkiness and individuality is second to none. The CLASSIC TEBAZILE is of course the backbone to all variations and will always be the true essence of the brand with a feel of serendipity, soulfulness and expressiveness illustrated through bold statement geometrical stand out pieces.
Amongst the styles that graced the catwalk are COLOUR POP, jewels with a fun feel to them using geometrical lines and bright being the order of the day. ATAMPA, a set of more structured pieces that are a beautiful blend of carefully outlined Ankara and a variety of coloured metal. POTOURRI, a fresh approach on the term ‘Flower Power’ with pieces of layered petals on metal creating statement jewels. TASSELS, reverting to a Studio 54 fringe and inspired feel perfect for standing out at any party and last but not least ROCK, pieces encouraged by the Heavy Metal trend and with wire wrapped crosses, spikes and blackened metal they are the accessories with an edge.
